Is there a fee to enter the awards?

There are no costs to enter the UK tech awards.

What does the nomination process involve?

If you would like to make a nomination(s) for the forthcoming UK tech awards, please click on the ‘nominate here’ button above. You can then make one or several nominations by following the online instructions. There is the opportunity to provide a brief reason with each nomination (60 words max). 

Once your nomination(s) have been submitted, the nominator should receive an email confirmation and the nominee(s) should also then receive an email outlining the next steps. If you do not receive email confirmations within 24 hours of submitting your nomination form, please contact sian.minoli@ford-sinclair.co.uk 

Submission form
For four of the categories – tech innovation of the year, tech achievement of the year, tech growth business of the year and tech company of the year – nominees will be sent an email containing a submission form. Please fill out the form and return, as directed therein by Friday 18 August 2017. If you require any assistance with the submission, please email Emma Hamblett at uktechawards@uk.pwc.com

Details supplied in your submission, along with other publicly available information such as your company accounts, will be assessed as part of the judging process. The Voting Panel will meet on Wednesday 27 September 2017 and the final shortlist will be announced on this website on Friday 29 September 2017.

What do I do if I do not wish to pursue my nomination?

You can decline your nomination by emailing the UK tech awards team at uktechawards@uk.pwc.com

When are the winners due to be announced?

The awards will be presented at a gala dinner on Thurssday 2 November 2017
at The Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster Bridge, London, SE1 7UT.

Eligibility

uk: Companies should either be headquartered in the UK or Ireland, or have substantial management, control and ownership based in the UK or Ireland and/or be listed in London.

tech: An eligible company for the UK tech awards will be one whose business growth and success is dependent on, or attributed to, the development of its technology. Eligible companies will have developed their IP and will be able to demonstrate significant innovation in the technology or its application. For the purposes of these awards, eligible companies could be involved in communications, electronic and digital technologies, biotech, medtech and/or cleantech.
